Ticks On The Ethernet Cable (TOTEC)

TOTEC is a digital videographic ballad about the pains of technological consumption with the overwhelming feeling of overloading within the machine. Sucking on the digital media without any thought of what actually is there, mindless sustenance to feed our bodies until we inevitably become so large we take a break and later latch onto something else— like a tick. However, it is impossible for this 21st century cyborg to detach itself from said technology. Removing itself from the machine would not be healthy, for the symbiotic relationship has already transitioned to parasitic. Because what would a cyborg be without its technology? Human? That ship has long sailed, and what is a cyborg with no circuitboard, or a human with no flesh?
