I Want To Be A Tree (2018)

My anxiety living as a human being is constant, and like most of us with the same feelings we can find our own ways to escape. I often fantasize about the possibilities of what my body will do after death. Once the soul leaves my body, the physical form, I hope that I may be cremated and put back into the earth. To become the trees in the forest, to blow in the wind atop tall mountains, to feed the coral reefs, these are my wishes for my flesh to be of use.

Here are a few renditions of what I would idealistically be satisfied becoming, rather than rotting inside a casket that will never decompose, I embrace nature recycling me. Even if this flesh itself is not fully degradable, it can act as a base for nature to start anew.
